Admission requirements
The Minor in English Studies is only open to 20 students from any of the Faculty of Philosophy, Arts and Letters Bachelor's programmes or the Bachelor's in Information and Communication run by the Faculty of Economic, Social and Political Sciences and Communication. Selection will be based on an exam held in the first week of the first term.
The admission exam has the following components:
- a multiple-choice language function test;
- a listening comprehension;
- a writing test (15-line text).
Students interested in taking this minor must already have attained B1 - Independent User level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This minimum requirement should, in theory, have been met if the student has successfully completed four years of language study (at least two hours per week) as part of a Humanities programme.
For further information, see the summary table showing the different minors open to students on each Bachelor's programme.
