Professional Focus [30.0]

Theoretical and practical training preparing for teaching French as a foreign language and aimed at students from the Master’s degree programme in French and Romance Languages and Literatures.

This specialized focus does not lead to the award of the full teaching qualification for higher secondary education (l’Agrégation de l’enseignement secondaire supérieur - AESS). However, combined with the AESS (French and Romance Languages and Literatures; 30 credits in 1 year), taken at the end of this 120 credit Master’s degree, it enables students to teach French as a foreign and second language (without the full qualification).

Focus recommended for students who choose ‘French as a foreign language’.
