Master [60] of arts in Philosophy - FILO2M1
The Master in Philosophy (60 credits) aims to provide an advanced training in the different areas of philosophy.
On completing this master, students :
General presentation of the programme
The programme is made up of :
♦ core courses : 55 credits - 15 credits for the end of study work; - 40 crédits (core courses) ♦ and optional courses : 5 credits. Accessible masters: le Master [120] of arts in Philosophy [120.0] et le Master [120] of arts in Ethics [120.0] . Direct access to the second year of the master; training includes the Dissertation and the Dissertation seminar (30 credits), one focus and the possible further trainings (maximum 30 credits ; for the master in ethics : FILO 2190- Questions approfondies de philosophie morale (5 credits), ESPO 1321- Ethique économique, sociale et politique (5 credits), FILO 2920- Séminaire de philosophie pratique (6 credits))
Links with the Teacher Training Certificate (upper secondary education) :
There is a university certificate in philosophy (additional module) which borrows from second level courses. This certificate is awarded at the end of one year of study on a programme made up of second level courses.
