At the end of this programme, students will have acquired :
1. clinical knowledge and skills enabling them to practice dentistry and to gain entry to the Advanced Masters in Dentistry.

2. the ability to adopt a critical attitude in relation to clinical cases they deal with as well as to materials and techniques currently available.

3. the ability to establish a relationship of confidence with the patient : they must be able to analyse a new clinical case and explain very clearly to the patient the proposed course of treatment as well as possible alternatives.

The Master in Dentistry, mainly centred on clinical practice, comprises core subjects of 90 credits and a professional focus of 30 credits.
The core subjects comprise a dissertation, clinical science and a language course.
The professional focus is largely made up of training activities on buccal and oro-facial pathologies and treatments and general medical science.
Students must take the whole programme. They only have a choice between language courses and courses in religious sciences.

Wathever the focus or the options chosen, the programme of this master shall totalise 120 credits, spread over two years of studies each of 60 credits

Certificates based on the current certificates in higher studies will be awarded for disciplines not recognized by the national insurance authority (Institut national d’assurance maladie-invalidité –INAMI): Restorative Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics.
