Teaching methodStrong points of the pedagogical approach
The majority of the courses in this programme implement an interactive style of teaching methodology, inspired by the principles of the project 'gérer sa formation' or 'manage your training' (guaranteeing student autonomy with the aid of new types of ICT, e-learning, teaching teams, practicing oral and written communication, etc). The programme familiarises the student with new resources and methods in the field of ancient science. The options programme foresees training in other disciplines, such as history and archeology.
The written and oral exams aim both to measure skills acquired as well as the student's communication skills and know-how. — Some subjects, geared towards helping the student develop skills in research and personal criticism, are subject to presentations and discussions spread out over the year (permanent evaluation).
Courses are evaluated according to current university regulations (see General Examination Regulations). Students may find further information on specific evaluation methods in the course descriptions.
