The core courses in this master (45 credits) provide advanced training in the field of Latin and French studies, particularly in linguistics (synchronic and diachronic approaches) and literature (analysis of authors, textual commentary and literary history). The skills acquired will be put to use in the end of study dissertation.
A choice of courses (total of 15 credits) helps the student acquire more specific training in some aspects of the Latin field ('langue et civilisation'; 'latinité classique, médiévale ou moderne') or French ('linguistique'; 'représentations et imaginaires littéraires'; 'sociologie de la littérature et de la paralittérature'; 'littérature, histoire et esthétique').
