Retour en début de pageStudy objectives

The Master in Biblical Studies provides in-depth training in exegesis and biblical languages (Old and New Testaments). Through activities geared towards examining methods and broadening skills, the research focus helps the student acquire the necessary skills when it comes to research in the field of biblical studies. For its part, the teaching focus provides teacher training. In the various areas of 'sciences bibliques' (Bible science) – languages (additional modules in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek), Biblical history and culture, exegesis methods, reading and hermeneutics of the texts of both Testaments - the student is invited to address specific issues and also learns how to take a rigorous approach to his work, how to master specialist exegesis instruments and develop a critical mind.

This Master can complete the Master in Theology, provided it is combined with 1 extra year of study.
