Internationalisation

The programme in Biblical studies is unmatched in the world of Francophone universities. For this reason, it is likely to attract students from abroad, in particular due to the expertise it offers in narrative analysis. A particularly positive aspect of the course concerns the active involvement of the faculty in RRENAB (réseau international de recherche en analyse narrative des textes bibliques). Foreign students are often attracted to the idea of specialising in the reception of seminal texts (ancient times and Renaissance) and in contemporary hermaneutics.
For UCL students studying Études bibliques, Erasmus exchanges are encouraged. Incidentally, the faculty is in the course of developing international contacts to promote special partnerships at its graduate college; in the medium term, these partnerships will have a positive impact on the way the faculty's Masters are organised.
