Admission

Procédures particulières :

Special admission requirements for this programme are as follows :

There are two criteria for admission :

1.      possession of  Belgian or European Master’s degree in Pharmacy or a Master’s degree in Chemistry (120 credits) after having gained a University Certificate in Pharmacy (refresher course)

2.      passing the competitive examination held by the programme committee for clinical biology at the School of Pharmacy.

The training in clinical biology is comparable to medical studies and is therefore governed by the restrictions outlined in article 49b of the laws on the practice of medicine. Entry to this training for candidates who are not from the European Union and who do not have the status of pharmacist in Belgium is therefore much more restricted. Where approval of the School of Pharmacy and the programme committee for clinical biology is given, such candidates will only be able to follow a non-degree programme for a maximum of 3 years of placement.

All application files and curricula vitae should be submitted to the School of Pharmacy office at the latest by May before the academic year applied for. The selection process will be through a competitive examination held at the beginning of July.

Admission procedures
Applications for admission must be addressed to the academic supervisor. The organisation of the entrance selection tests is arranged in accordance with the calendar and the general examination rules and regulations.
