At the end of this learning unit, the student is able to :

1 Specific learning outcomes:
By the end of this teaching unit, students are able to
  • site themselves in (and with relation to) a cultural heritage by deepening their critical thinking.
  • reinterpret, in a contemporary context, the desire for a 'good life' sought by philosophers since Antiquity.
  • identify the vocabulary, the conceptual tools, the main themes in the development of philosophy and anthropology.
  • understand the major contribution of philosophy, humanities and social sciences to the  conceptualisation and practice of architecture, in order to help to make the world a place to live in, individually and collectively.
