Content

The main objective of the seminar is to train students in the different methods of the current musicological research. So that they will have necessary tools to produce scientific works and all sorts of productions wich will be asked during their future careers.

The topics of the seminar will change from year to year but will focus on two main topics :

1) to enhance musical heritage of the Southern Netherlands through archival research;

2) to study musical collection, their contents and their elaboration; so that students become accustomed to survey technique and musical catalogues, to musical philology and music edition.

Reference books will be listed in the course of the seminar.
