Where does the conference take place ?
The conference will take place in the "Studio 13" auditorium, at the Université catholique de
Louvain (UCL), in Louvain-la-Neuve. Here is how to reach it:
- By plane.
There are two airports near Louvain-la-Neuve: Brussels Airport
(Zaventem) and Brussels South (Charleroi). From Brussels Airport, you
can reach Louvain-la-Neuve either by taxi (it should cost about 50€ for
a one-way), or by train (in that case, you can take a train to the
Bruxelles Nord station and then further refer yourself to the next
point). From Brussels South, taxi is about the only efficient way of
reaching Louvain-la-Neuve (it should cost about 70€ for a one-way).
- By train from Brussels.
From the Bruxelles Midi (high speed train station), Central, Nord,
Luxembourd
or Shuman stations, take the train to "Louvain-la-Neuve
Université" or the train to Liers, and stop in "Ottignies". In
Ottignies, take another train to "Louvain-la-Neuve Université".
It should cost at most 10€ for a one-way.
- By foot, from the Louvain-la-Neuve station. Louvain-la-Neuve is a pedestrian city. To arrive at the Studio 13 auditorium from the station, first join the "Place de l'Univeristé" which is next. On the square, you can find a fountain from which starts the "Grand Rue": follow it until you reach a covered passage (from which sometimes emanates a delicate aroma of hot waffle). At the exit of this passage, you will find a wooden spiral staircase: Studio auditoria are at the top of these stairs.
If necessary, here is a complete map of Louvain-la-Neuve. - By car. Free parking is available outside the town but the easiest way is usually to use underground parkings refered on the map, like the Grand-Place, the Grand-Rue or the Charlemagne parkings.
- A shuttle will be provided to reach the conference from the Léonardo hotel, in Wavre.

You can reach the place of the conference by train from this hotel (see

trajet). Registrations can be made from the hotel's web site. The hotel has preferential rates with UCL.

1000 Bruxelles - The Best Western hotel, in Wavre. You can reach the place of the conference either by bus or by car. If you take the bus, you should first walk to the "Wavre
- Boulevard de l'Europe" bus stop, then take the bus towards
"Ottignies" (labeled 20). Walk down the bus in "Louvain-la-Neuve -
Centre Commercial". There, take the stairs to the surface and you should be close to the
station. From there, you can follow the above map to get to the place
of the conference.

- The Jacques Brel youth hostel, in Brussels. This youth hostel is located near the Brussels Central train station in the center of Brussels.
