Transferable skills such as creativity, group work, interdisciplinarity, team work, etc. are increasingly in demand on the job market. In addition to disciplinary skills, it is therefore essential to train our students in these skills. During this workshop, we propose to look at some of these skills and see how they can be integrated into your course.
Within the Circle U. European Alliance, a tool has been developed to support the development of transferable skills for students during their university studies. During this training, we will introduce you to this tool. Based on the skills you have pre-selected (after your registration), we will share examples of pedagogical practices that develop these competencies. We will see how they can be integrated into your teaching. Finally, we will propose analysis grids to measure the level of achievement of these skills.
Training aims
- Ensure that a teaching practice develops a targeted skill.
- Integrate activities into your course to develop the targeted transferable skills.
- Use the analysis grids to measure and objectify the level of achievement of transferable skills.
