Would you like to find out more about Open Science? Are you wondering what this concept covers and how it can be useful to you as a doctoral student? Would you like to gain a better understanding of the aims of Open Science and the social and economic issues involved? Are you wondering what UCLouvain can do to support you in this process? This course is for you.


Training aims

On completion of the course, you will be able to :

  1. Understand the different dimensions of Open Science and its key concepts
  2. Understand the aims of Open Science
  3. Describe the economic, social and societal values and issues underlying Open Science
  4. Explain its importance for researchers

No particular prerequisites.


This course is a part of four sessions related to Open Science for the Health Sciences Doctoral School. Courses cannot be taken independently of each other.
