It will cover the following points:
- Open Data: general principles
- Research data: definition
- Why manage your research data? Scientific, political, economic and social issues
- Research Data Management (RDM) and FAIR principles
- Presentation of the DMP Online tool (templates, sections and structure)
- DMP content: data description, data documentation, data storage and back-up, legal and ethical requirements, data sharing and reuse, data management responsibilities
- Presentation of the exercise to be carried out: presenting your data and drawing up a DMP
Training aims
By the end of the course, you will be familiar with: the general principles of Open or FAIR Data, the issues of Open Data, the content of a Data Management Plan and the general operation of the DMP Online tool.
