Accommodation during the symposium

There is unfortunately no hotel room currently available right in Louvain-la-Neuve during the conference dates.

If you want to stay close to the symposium venue, we recommend you to book a hotel in Wavre. There is a frequent bus and train connection between Wavre and Louvain-la- Neuve during the day (for more details go to Travel and Map). Be aware however that there is no bus connection after 8pm (and the last train connection from Louvain-la-Neuve to Wavre leaves at 9:40pm). There are many restaurants in the centre of Wavre but the night activity is quiet. The symposium will organize the trips back to the hotels in Wavre after the dinner on Thursday night for those without car.

Staying in Brussels is of course another reasonable option with plenty of choice. There are regular trains connecting with Louvain-la-Neuve (twice an hour, journey takes between 35-50 minutes, last departure from Louvain-la-Neuve around 22:30pm).
