As a PhD student and postdoc in the SensMoTion Lab, I explored how the human brain integrates gravity and sensory feedback to control movement and manipulate objects in different gravitational environments. Through experiments conducted with astronauts, during parabolic flights, or directly in the lab, we investigated how altered gravity influences visuomotor coordination, grip control, and the perception of forces. Our goal is to understand how graviceptive feedback and internal models of gravity shape motor planning and perception.
