“Figures du Nous”: Six Voices of Contemporary Francophone Literature in Dialogue

Nour Cadour, Hajar Azell, and Asya Djoulaït, together with Diadié Dembélé, Zied Bakir, and Sabre Bougrine, integrate into their writing themes that continue to resonate within them: family memory, the migratory experience, the constant movement between spaces and languages, and the ongoing interrogation of identity.
This special roundtable will bring the six writers together to reflect on both the challenges and the rewards of the creative process, before opening the discussion to the audience. The event will take place at Musée L in Louvain-la-Neuve on September 17, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m., and will be followed by a book signing.
The panel is part of the conference “From Experiences to Storytelling of Postmigration” (September 17–19, 2025, UCLouvain).
