Who are we?
Mansfield Investment Club (MIC) is the investment club of UCLouvain FUCaM Mons. The aim of this association is to bring together students who are passionate about finance and investment. The club also manages a real and fictitious portfolio under the supervision of the portfolio manager. This allows us to put into practice what we learn. We develop our own investment strategies based on the club’s objectives and needs.
Our goals
Knowledge
All members of the association are willing to improve their knowledge in the fields of finance and communication. For us, risk comes when we don’t control what we’re doing. Training is therefore paramount. This includes books, articles, events, or the meeting of professionals.
Innovation
We seek to differentiate ourselves through our communication and investment strategies. We want to bring new ideas that allow us to get out of our comfort zone and learn new concepts. For example, we invest ethically in assets that are in line with our values.
Performance
We aim for performance in our work and investments. We set goals on a regular basis. To achieve them, we are putting in place a clear and effective organization. Club members do not hesitate to question themselves to improve the way they work and to remain efficient.
