Aims

At the end of the course the students
- should be familiarised with the main sexual dysfonctions
- should be at ease in front of a sexual symptom and be attentive to personal and relational suffering implied
- should be initiated to the clinics of the crises and conjugal conflicts

Main themes

- Attempt of a definition of "normal" couple and of "normal" sexuality
- Systematic study of sexual dysfonctions (medical and psychological aspects) in man and in woman (disorders of the desire, of the excitation, of the orgasm)
- Initiation to the therapeutical approaches

Content and teaching methods

- Description of the disorders in their bio-psycho-social dimension
- Approach of differential psychobiology of man and woman
- Stake of the sexuality into the conjugal dynamics

The course will refer to the state of the knowledge in sexology (in its various models) and on many clinical examples.

Written and verbal examination
Transparents, verbal interaction, active participation of the students who have to react on the clinical cases and on the ethical reflections implied.
