Aims
Control of the family policy in its budgetary, economical, social, cultural, philosophical and juridical dimensions, as a necessary complement to all the other policies.
To learn to reconsider the familial policy through the deep mutations shaking it and the ideologies tempting to redefine it.
Main themes
The familial policy is a crossroad of all the other policies and characterizes in terms of
- money
- time
- collective equipments
In the past the social insurance of the wage earners and of the self-employed workers was was an attribute of the family. We will study its technical, juridical, philosophical and sociological mechanisms and we will examine the policies to struggle against the poverty and the policies for the handicapped.
The time : we will mainly devote our research to the conciliation family - work- children...
Collective equipments : we will examine the policy for early childhood : day care centers, education, housing policy, youth help
Content and teaching methods
- the teacher will present a lecture, followed by questions - answers and/or personal questioning
- each course will begin with a press review of the week on the themes of the course
- each student will have to study and report a short question of family policy (± 3 pages)
