Aims

The course aims at bringing a complement to the development of the skills to analyze some psychopathological and criminological problems occurring in families and couples and which are not tackled in the course of psychotherapy (SEX 2400). This complement is especially planned for students making towards a research in these fields or towards a general clinical psychotherapeutical practice.

Main themes

The initiation to the psychosocial, psychopathological and criminological problems in families and couples: some particular situations.
Pathological jealousy.
Aggressiveness and conjugal violence.
Sexual aggressions (incest, rape), pedophilia.

Content and teaching methods

This course follows the course of familial, conjugal and sexual psychopathology and will approach some psychopathological, psychosocial and criminological problems, namely the pathological jealousy, the aggressiveness and the wife-beating and the sexual aggressions such as incest, rape and pedophilia.
