Aims
The students will have familiarised themselves with current methods of research and will be able to carry out independently a functional analysis, in the context of the diversity of the linguistic usages of the Hispanic world.
Main themes
The course will consist of collective exercises on a varied corpus of Spanish texts in order to a rigorous linguistic analysis of it, especially at the syntactic level.
Content and teaching methods
Students are required to apply to an individual corpus of texts the criteria and arguments described and developed in "Spanish III" (Descriptive Grammar) with a view to acquiring a better comprehension of the mechanisms of distributional and syntactic variations specific to Spanish.
