Aims

Be able to read a commentary in French or English on the prophets in general or on one prophet in particular.

Main themes

Study the great biblical prophets, placing them in their historical context and presenting the exegesis of the most important passages.

Content and teaching methods

1. Extatic prophetism in the Bible and ancient Middle East.
2. The court prophets.
3. Amos.
4. Hoseah.
5. Isaiah.
6. Jeremiah.
