Aims
The aim is to sensitize the non psychiatrist's doctors (mainly general practitioners and pediatrists) with the great psychiatric and psychosomatic syndromes in the childhood.
Main themes
The principal topics in review are: development disorders; autism; psychoses; neuroses in the childhood; the OCD; the school phobia; psychosomatic syndromes;
In the various topics, we will be particularly attentive with:
- To give good tools for clinical location;
- To show what the first line consists, this work which remains essential, even with serious pathologies (for example: information and support of the parents; management of the child's symptoms);
- To outline the components of the specialized treatment.
Content and teaching methods
The aim of the course is to review the great syndromes of infantile psychopathology. We sensitise the student with the location, the étiopathogénie, and especially with the treatment's components which it can implement in first lines (general practitioner or pediatrists).
