Content and teaching methods
Hearing losses
This course introduces the students to the etiology, to the pathogenesis and to the treatment of various pathologies of the hearing function; pathology of the external ear, middle ear, internal ear and of central nervous paths of hearing. Overview of the genetic and inborn pathologies.
Medical, surgical and prosthetic treatment of the hearing losses and description of the amplifier hearing aids.
Substitute methods
Description of the technics of rehabilitation of the deep hearing loss.

Anatomy and physiology of the ear. If possible : audiologiy(LOGO2212)
Lectures and presentation of audio and video documents (slides, films, videos) and practical training (exercises and clinics in speech therapy). A course outline is given.
