Aims
The students tackle a subject in their own work on the basis of documents, and their preparation is checked against a presentation given by someone in private or public practice (conference). The conferences provide an opportunity to think about career opportunities in the fields covered.
Main themes
The course addresses an important topic among the current main issues of European law. Normally there are five lectures, each one given by a specialist. At the beginning of the academic year students are given details about each lecture.
Content and teaching methods
The course aims to organise a meeting between the students and someone exercising a particular legal function. The lecturers come from different backgrounds, which helps the students to be aware of the variety of professions that may be considered once they have acquired a specialisation in European law.
