Deepening of one's knowledge of Dutch linguistics. Be able to do a piece of research in the domain and to present the results.
Main themes
Aspects of modern Dutch linguistics on the basis of scientific articles.
Content and teaching methods
Contrastive study of two linguistic systems, i.e. Dutch and French. We will go through the principal synchronic similarities and differences between Dutch and French, especially syntax, morphology and lexis.

Evaluation: oral exam.
Course materials: linguistics articles and books about Dutch linguistics.
