Initiation into the methods of observation, analysis and interpretation of geological phenomena in the field, viewed in their regional context.

Main themes

The 4 days of fieldwork are devoted to an examination of aspects of the geology of Belgium to illustrate, in three dimensions, the basic geological phenomena treated in the courses AGRO1100 and GEO1251. The various features of physical geography are considered in context, and attention is given to the exploitation of rocks and their uses.
