Aims
The aim of the course is to introduce the basic concepts necessary for an analysis of the ethical implications of contemporary scientific developments. The seminars will consist of a more detailed discussion of certain questions.

The different systems of ethical justification and their relevance to the analysis of the ethical implications of scientific developments.

Assessment:
The assessment is based on a group project done by the students, divided into interdisciplinary groups, on a topic of their choice.
Supporting material:
The interdisciplinary nature of the group responsible for the course and of the students is particularly stimulating.
