Aims
This course provides an introduction to the models and methods of modern industrial organization. and is in-tended to give a broad coverage of the field. It aims to provide students with an understanding of the basic tools and models of analysis in industrial organization so as to equip them with the ability to conduct research in this field.
Main themes
The course covers most classical problems of industrial economics: pricing, product specification, barriers to entry, collusion, research and development.
