Aims

This course builds on the knowledge acquired, in the field of competition law, during the law degree course The purpose is to help students prepare for senior posts in the business world, in a company, in a law firm or in a public institution. The course seeks to equip students with the theoretical and practical tools they need.

Content and teaching methods

The themes change each year and relate to current developments. These themes include the following: the free provision of goods and services through the Internet (software, etc.); the increasing international dimension of competition-related issues; the liberalisation of network industries (communications, energy, transport, etc.); the new forms of distribution and their impact on applicable rules; the application of competition rules by various kinds of authorities (specialised authorities, judiciary); compensation of damages caused by anti-competitive behaviour; the interests of consumers in competition cases.
