Aims

Third cycle course given every other year aiming at teaching the most recent developments in the field of synthesis and of characterizing specialized polymers. The theoretical aspect of the problems will also be looked upon.

Main themes

The content of this course will vary from year to year. It will come upon the following points, among others : - new monomers, now synthesis methods and polymer functionality; - high added value polymers ;- organized systems (liquid crystals, amphiphile polymers, etc.) ;- responsive polymers ;- problems linked to the degradation and to the recycling of polymers.
