Aims

Third cycle course with a biannual periodicity aiming to show the student recent developments in biotechnology in the industrial sector.

Main themes

The content of the course varies from year to year. It treats essentially subjects of current interest in the applications of biochemistry in the field of biotechnology. Among recent examples: industrial applications of enzymes: gene therapy: site-directed mutagenesis: catalytic antibodies: development of new drugs.
