Aims

Help the student in his advanced study of different groups of plants and/or animals, mostly on the aspects of taxonomy and classification.

Main themes

These work sessions will consist for example of occidental europe Angiosperms and/or Cryptogams(like Bryophytes, diatomeesXX, .. ), l'avifauneXX, l'entomofauneXX, (LepidopteresXX, microfaune des litieresXX). The observations will be, depending on the circumstances, on anterior collections and of more recent ones; they will end by a seminary relative to they group studied.

Prerequisites: basics in plant and animal biology, ecology and biogeography (second cycle level).

Evaluation: summary report on the studied group.

Assisted work: seminars on methodologies used to evaluate the biological and biodiversity quality.
