Prerequisites: basics in biochemistry (ex. CHIM 2230), microbiology (ex. BIOL 2131) and molecular genetics (ex. BIOL 2137).
Seminars: students choose a subject in accordance with the teachers. They are asked to go thoroughly into it by searching and analysing recent scientifical articles. Students will present their own work in the form of a ten pages essay that they will expose and defend to other students. The teachers estimate written work, oral presentation and defense. The grade obtained is the exam quotation.
Written support: scientifical articles, outlines, course notes; bibliographic data bank available on-line, notably on a local site developped with the FDP.
