Aims

- Introduce students to design methods specific to large-scale and complex projects.
- Application of these methods via certain typical programmes.

Main themes

Definition of programming
- basic functional, structural and HVAC programming.
- circulation flows
- degrees of indetermination and flexibility
- detailed programming.
- organisational diagrammes and "space by space" inventories
Analysis of examples and specific approaches
- educational buildings.
- public health: hospitals, clinics, senior facilities.
- circulation spaces, etc.
