Main themes
Among present-day problems concerning marriage and the family, this course will examine a particular question, from the point of view of a moral theology of scriptural and personalist inspiration, in reference to teachings from the Tradition and the Church Magisterium.
The questions dealt with are chosen from the various domains constituting the human reality of Christian marriage and sexuality ; among others conjugal ties and fertililty... Due to, on the one hand, the effect of transformations of contemporary society on the formation of the human couple and, on the other hand, possibilities opening in the reproductive area through biomedical techniques, this course uses data from the human and biological sciences to focus on problems approached.

2002-2003 :
The relation of paternity.
In the Gospels, God, whom Christ designated by the title of "Father" is so called in the Christian tradition. If it appears that there is no role of father or mother within the mystery of the Trinity, is it a matter of indifference that God should be presented as a father and not as a mother and what effect does this have on the structure and functions of human paternity in the family and in social relations ?
The question will be examined taking the crisis of meaning of paternity, in society today, into account.
