Aims
This is an extension of Course SESP 1216 ("Statistical analysis"), and aims to apply statistical methods to problems of administration and management.

Content
0. (Review) An analysis of decision-making in a context of uncertainty/statistical inference: point estimation and estimation by confidence belt, and test hypotheses.
1. Analysis of variance.
2. Introduction to econometrics (multiple regression, colinearity, analysis of residues, and non-linear models).
3. Non-parametric methods, adjustment tests and independence tests.
4. Analysis of chronological series.
5. Planning sampling.

Pre-requirements: "Introduction to infinitesimal calculus" (Course SESP 1112 or SESP 1210). "Matrix calculus" (SESP 1211), "Advanced mathematics" (SESP 1213) and "Statistical analysis" (SESP 1216).
