Aims
At the end of the course, the student should have:
- a global and historic knowledge of the literature production in Spain of the XX century. She/He should be able to place the most important works in their historical and literary context and should also be able to interpretate these works on the basis of a literary comprehension and in a intertextual perspective.
Main themes
The course presents the main Spanish literary genres and movements of the XX century, while focussing on the major works.
Content and teaching methods
The master courses will alternate with analysis of extracts of works (the students will have an anthology, as from the first course session) or complete works, so as to present a complete overview -with focusses on some major works - of the Spanish literature of the XX century

Prerequisites : Intermediate level of Spanish.
Evaluation : Written exam in Spanish.
Teaching materials : Didactic hand-outs at each session. Texts (anthology of texts or complete work) and icons. Reference manual.
