- To analyse the different points of view (morphosyntactical, semantic, discursive) likely to shed light on the language issues in the secondary education schools.

Content and teaching methods
Reflection on the great hypotheses ( innate or " environmentalists ") explaining the acquisition of language ; acquisition of a first and second language (analogies and differences) ; critical analysis of the main learning methods ; relevance of the contrastive approach and of the error analysis approach. Besides, the course suggests some concrete reflection topics ( French and the African Arabian and Asian languages, teaching in an immigrants environment,etc)
