Aims

The Gospel of John
The objectives of the course are to provide general knowledge on the Gospel of John and its main characteristics, as well as to stress its literary processes and its own theological vision in the early development of Christian theology.

Main themes

A short introduction is given to the questions of formation and author, as well as to the main trends of recent research in this field.The text is dealt with (1) through discussion of the major articulations of its construction and (2) through exegesis of sections representing its different aspects.
