Content and teaching methods
Content
The course will focus on the matters that most directly concern the activities of businesspeople and commercial enterprises in the economic market as regards their relations with customers, other businesspeople, lenders and public authorities. It will also try to situate company law within the the new developments that confront several areas of the law (e.g. consumer law, the law governing the market, public aid to enterprises, and the law as it relates to bankruptcy).
The titles of the sections are:
- Company law and trading.
- The legal system of gaining access to economic activity.
- The law governing the market and the exercise of commercial activity.
- Commercial transactions.
- Special features of company law.
- Bankruptcy and agreements with creditors.
Methodology
Practical training will be included in the course. Students will be expected to do individual work during the term, and to present their results in writing.
