Aims

This course is aimed for students willing to acquire an advanced training in automatic control and systems. The aim is to study in-depth various methods for the analysis and synthesis of automated systems.

Main themes

To thoroughly study one of the advanced methods in automatic through appropriate reading and presentation of various chapters from a given reference book that may change from one year to the other according to the teacher who has tenure of this course.

Content and teaching methods

The themes in this course may change from one year to another depending on the students' and teachers' interests. Among these themes, the following can be listed by way of example :
- optimal control
- control of discrete event systems
- control of distributed parameter systems
- etc...

This course will be taught through active pedagogical methods, in particular problem-based learning and guided reading.

The teaching language : french or english
