 Main themes
The content of the seminard depends on the research carried out in the Department. A complete list of the seminars organized is renewed every year and communicated to the students at the beginning of the academic year.
Content and teaching methods
Sociological analysis of plays by Brecht, O. von Horvath, Max Frisch and Friedrich Dürrenmatt. The first session will be devoted to a theoretical introduction to the theme of the seminar and a general presentation of the writers to be considered. During the other sessions the students will present personal writings which will lead to group discussions. At the end of the seminar the students will each write an essay synthesizing the material covered.
