Aims

To enable students to apply the techniques and methods of multivariate data analysis covered in Courses DEMO 3540 and DEMO 3544, and to interpret the results.

Main themes

Application in the IT suite to files of socio-demographic survey data, techniques of multivariate analysis (e.g. logistic regression, survival analysis, multi-level analysis, factorial analysis and multiple correspondences) and for calculating demographic indicators with the help of ad hoc statistical software.

Assessment: There will be a joint assessment with the courses to which these practices are associated (i.e. Courses DEMO 3544 and 3540).
