Aims

Practice at demographic analysis and perspectives that will enable students to assimilate Courses DEMO 3426 ("Demographic analysis: mortality, fertility, migration and structures") and DEMO 3428 ("Dynamic of populations and of households. Demographic forecasting and perspective methodology").
Classroom practice with exercises in the "immediate" application of the main methods seen on the two courses.

Content and teaching methods

The use of informatics and Excel software on "field trial" exercises. To get the students to carry out calculations, to encourage them to present their results in the form of tables and graphs, and to comment on them.

Assessment: There will be a joint assessment with the courses to which these activities and seminars are attached.
