Aims
The objectives of the inorganic chemistry course are:
- extending the notions of general inorganic chemistry founded in the first two years of study
- mastering the main concepts of coordination chemistry, including organometallic chemistry.
Main themes
1. Complements of general and theoretical chemistry allowing to enlarge the description of chemical bonding in inorganic compounds and the evolution of their properties in the entire periodic table.
2. The fundamental concepts of coordination chemistry in the relation with the physico-chemical structure and the reactivity..
3. An introduction to organometallic chemistry, mostly of transition metals.
