 Objectifs
Good knowledge of the Hittite language. Be able to transcribe a cuneiform text, to use the dictionaries, the literary journals and collection quite well.

Bonne maîtrise de la langue hittite. Etre capable de transcrire un texte cunéiforme, d'utiliser correctement les dictionnaires, les revues et collections de textes.
Cahier des charges
Etude des grands textes historiques et religieux datant essentiellement de l'Empire hittite. Une initiation à l'écriture hittite hiéroglyphique est aussi prévue. Le cours est complété par 15h d'exercices de transcriptions et de traductions.

Revision of the essential grammar points. Study of the important historical and religious texts dating mainly from the Hittite Empire. An introduction to hieroglyphic Hittite writing as well as a study of the seals are also planned. Transcription and translation exercises.
