Message of the Coordinator

Last month, the KULeuven team proposed a new format for the fall study day of DYSCO : in the afternoon we had three parallel sessions, each with a focus on one of our workpackages. Many of the participants were quite positive about the initiative and we will follow up on this idea for our future DYSCO study days. Many thanks to the KULeuven team for this initiative and to all speakers and participants for making it happen.

I also want to draw your attention to our upcoming events. This month we will have a workshop on Biomedical Signal Processing in Leuven and we will start next semester with a Graduate School Course delivered by Erik Ydstie of Carnegie Mellon University. You will find more information about it in this newsletter.

Meanwhile, I take this opportunity to wish you the best for 2016 as well as a Merry Christmas !

Paul Van Dooren
Coordinator of DYSCO
